Unterhaltsam, gut lesbar, aber oberflächlich. Ideal als leichte Sachbuchlektüre am See, im Bad oder in der U Bahn. Wer eine profunde Information zum Thema erwartet, wird enttäuscht. Der Anspruch, dass das Geld die Geschichte der Menschheit wesentlich inspiriert und beeinflusst, wird einseitig argumentiert. Es fehlt der Bezug zu anderen Strömungen, wie Philosphie, Wissenschaft oder der Religion. A short description of the world s financial history. Entertaining, easy to read, but superficial. Perfect companion on the beach or the underground. A reader expecting in dephth information will be disappointed. The hypothesis that money is the world s major motivator and incentive for development is not well argued. Cross connections to philosophy, science or religion are missing.
